Wow! I just found your blog and I LOVE it. I was lucky enough to have a Positive Parenting co-op preschool with my kids... where the parents were taught these methods, we were actually the students in this preschool. It was the best experience I ever had. That said, I still struggle every day to keep my cool when parenting my 6 and 4 year olds.

You are right... parenting is the hardest, but most self-reflective therapy you could have... if you can see it that way and use the information that you get back... many people just perpetuate what they learned from their parents... they know no other way, nor can they imagine that there is one.

Oh my god, I am grateful for your honesty, and happy to think that any effort I put forth on dealing with "my" anger is actually a salve for the anger of my entire family. :) very grateful for this post, actually!
